The Trail
Together we’ll build a college list taking into account your strengths, interests, and preferences such as cost, location, size and programs offered. Along the trail, I’ll help you reflect on the personal qualities and life experiences that have shaped you as a person in order to develop the essays you’ll submit with your applications.
Making Camp
When the admissions offers arrive, I will help you decide which campsite (or campus) is best for you. I’ll get out my headlamp so we can compare offers and consider all the important factors you and your family have identified. Finding a campus where you’ll feel at home and challenge yourself is my top priority.
Find a place where you’ll flourish, not just be admitted.
I guide college bound students and their parents through the college search and admissions process. With my help, the path toward college can be one of exploration, identity development and growth for the student instead of confusion and family stress. I facilitate developing a college list using assessments and tools to address specific needs and wants of the student and parents, making the most of college visits, exploring areas of study and careers, essay brainstorming and development, preparing a resumé and activities list, editing and reviewing applications, identifying scholarship sources and completing financial aid forms, and finally the decision making process after the student has been accepted.
With my help you will enjoy the path towards college knowing you will achieve your goals and aspirations!
